THE MECHANICS OF MEDITATION

Step by step in slow motion

The Reality of my life cannot die, for I am Indestructible Consciousness. I am Infinite, Space less, tireless & beyond Body, Thought, & Utterance, beyond all Matter & Mind. I am Endless BLISS.   

WHY MEDITATE?

To attain conscious awareness of the Creator & of our-Souls eternal oneness with Him.

Concentration – consists in freeing the attention from distractions & focusing it on any elevated THOUGHT. Basically, it amounts to being a master of your five senses, total self-sovereignty.

Contemplation – consists of holding that elevated THOUGHT for a long time. Looking at it from all angles, exploring its subtle meanings by churning it over.

PREPARING TO MEDITATE?

Sit still with a straight spine, preferably on the floor with legs locked in & palms facing upwards, resting comfortably on the thighs. Take a few deep breaths & exhale the stagnant air out completely. Settle down with normal breathing. Cover up your fidgety eyeballs with the shutters of your eyelids. Lock the eyelid doors & shut out the wild dance of tempting scenes. Hold them still too. Fix the gaze of restless eyes on the spot between the eyebrows, very gently, loosely & effortlessly.

Try to be CALMLY ACTIVE & ACTIVELY CALM inwards.

Now loosen your mind from the Consciousness of the Body Weight. Leave behind the heavy bundle of bones tied in the thick cloth of flesh. Untie the nerve strings, weighing down your soul. Drop your mind into the bottomless well of your heart, that is bubbling with life giving blood. Keep your attention tied to the heart till you feel its rhythmic beating. Meditate on this mental freedom & new ability of the soul to fly & hover up to Infinity. Imagine, dwell & dream. Transfer thy consciousness to the inner world.    

KEEP BROADCASTING TO SELF

I am happy in the Happiness of dear ones, who are on Earth or in the great beyond.

Divine Love is the Magnet that attracts all Blessings & Blessedness.

MEDITATE ON GOING HOME

I stayed long reveling with all of you dancing with my variously costumed thoughts, drinking the wine of my feelings & my mundane will. I have now forsaken the intoxication of Delusion.

Goodbye muscles, bones & bodily motions.

Farewell breath. I cast thee away from my breast.

Adieu heart throbs, emotions, thoughts & memories.

Bye-bye blue house of heaven.

So long stars, celestial celebrities & your dramas on the screen of space.

Ta-ta flowers with your traps of beauty & fragrance.

Salutations to the warm embrace of sunshine.

Leave taking from the cool soothing comforting breeze.

Cheerios entertaining music of man.

I am flying Home in a plane of Silence. I go to feel my heart throb in Him. I have always been in the sacred presence of my Father.

I was lost, Father, in the wastelands of wrong beliefs, now I can not find my way Home. Please rise on the darkness of my mental sky & be the polestar of my groping mind. Lead me to thyself, who art my Home.

DISTRACTED – START AGAIN

I close my physical eyes & dismiss the temptations of matter. I peer through the darkness of Silence until my eyes of relativity open into one inner eye of Light. When my two eyes that behold good & evil become single & behold in everything, only the divine goodness of the Creator.

GOING WITHIN

I was a prisoner carrying a heavy load of bones & flesh, but now I have broken the chains of my muscle-bound body by the power of RELAXATION. I am free now. I shall try to go within. I enter the dim corridor through the door of the Spiritual Eye & speed on until at last the river of my life flows into the Ocean of life & loses itself in Bliss.

SEEING THE PEACEFUL LIGHT WITHIN

Look at a light & close your eyes. Forget the darkness around you & watch bright red color within your eyelids. Look more intently into violet red color. Imagine it becoming bigger & bigger. You are the wave of light, a ripple of Peace floating on the surface of the sea of light. Now watch carefully the little wave tossing on the Ocean of light. A little shallow wave going wide & deep into the Ocean of Peace. Peace is the Ambrosial wine of Spirit flowing in a Drama of sad & happy dreams, on the stage of experience. Once again fix your mind inwardly between the eyebrows on the shore less lake of Peace. Watch the eternal circle of rippling peace around you spreading outwardly to the forehead, to the heart & to every cell in your body. This flood of Peace flows over the boundaries of your mind & moves in infinite directions.

LISTENING TO THE VOICE OF THE CREATOR

Listen to the cosmic sound of AUM. A great hum of countless atoms in the sensitive right side of your head. Hear its pounding Roar spreading through the brain, spine, heart & every tissue. It holds all matter in manifestation like the words of speech in your head. Matter & bodies melt into the Universe & you melt into soundless voice & sound melts into all shining light, which enters the bosom of Infinite Joy.

  

ENTERING THE WELL OF SILENCE

His laughter caught my heart. His Joy invaded my sorrowful being as I swung in a hammock beneath the pines under the blue sky. I felt the sky astir & His presence moving through me. My body became still, my power of Silence dug into my bosom, until a bottomless well of Bliss sprang up. All things in the Creation drank of me. Then satisfied they plunged into the waters of my Immortality. All melted in the Ocean of my all dissolving Silence.  

EXPANDING TO INFINITY IN ETERNITY

Eternity yawns at me below, above, in the left & on the right, in front & behind, within & without. With open eyes I behold myself as the little body. With closed eyes I perceive myself as the cosmic center around which revolves the sphere of eternity & bliss.

IN DEVOTION THEY BEG OF HIM TO TEACH

Teach me to open the gate of Meditation that alone leads to Thy blessed presence.

Teach me the mystery of my Existence, O beloved Father.

Teach me to worship Thee in breathlessness & deathlessness.

Teach me to reclaim my birth right & to live as an Immortal.

Teach me to behold Thy face in the mirror of my stillness within.

Teach me to think of Thee until Thou dost become my only Thought.

Teach me to find Thy presence on the alter of my constant Peace & in the Joy that springs from deep Meditation.

Teach me to drink the everlasting Nectar of Joy found in the Fountain of MEDITATION.

IN KNOWLEDGE / GYAN HE ACTUALLY TEACHES US

& WE MAKE THE EFFORT TO IMBIBE

I am the irresistible Fire of Smiles. I will help weeping ones to smile, by smiling myself, even when it is difficult.

I have buried / cremated dead disappointments in the cemeteries of yesterday.

I will water them with Self confidence & faith & wait for the Divine to give me the rightful harvest.

I will not become Lazy & mentally ossified.

I will not be overactive, able to earn money but unable to enjoy life.

I will Meditate to maintain true Balance.

I will perform all duties serenely & saturated with Peace.

I will light the match of Smiles so that my gloom veil will disappear. The soul is hiding behind the accumulated darkness of ages.

I will admire the good qualities of all nationalities & will not put my Attention on their Errors.

I will break the boundaries of Self Love.

I will drink Vitality from the Golden Fountain of Sunshine.

I will drink Peace from the Silver Fountain of Mooned Nights.

Today I open the door of my calmness & let the footsteps of Silence gently enter the temple of all my activities.

Today I will sow the seeds of Wisdom, health, prosperity & Happiness.

I saturate myself with the perfume of Thy presence & I wait to Waft with the breeze, the Aroma of Thy Message of LOVE to all.

How the App functions? -- The Golden Vessel must be kept Pure with constant Awareness of Soul Consciousness & connection of Remembrance, then it is ready to receive the Gyan/Knowledge from the Teacher/Father. The Gyan flows directly & squarely into the Vessel & stays there intact for use at a latter date/time, otherwise it overflows. This is how we are all number wise.

When to update it? – Divine Intellect must be religiously updated and re- calibrated at Amrit vela daily, for it to function at its peak. Make sure it is fine tuned & flight worthy for the rest of the day.

PEACE : It is a state of tranquility, calm, quiet environment, which follows after CONFLICT RESOLUTION happens. Therefore understanding Conflict & its resolution becomes paramount. Personal Peace is a state of BEING QUIET / Still inside & outside. When every one around us, attains this state, then Harmony prevails & that land is called PARADISE. Here the Question of Conflict does not arise, ever. Remember, Arms are for HUGGING & not for Hitting, Shoving, Pushing, Bullying, Hurting or Over Powering.    

CONFLICT - Internal : Differing perspectives about the REAL you/self & the PROJECTED EGO of you/self. The Real you is hidden, natural, pure, peaceful & easy going. On the other hand the Projected Ego of self by the self is exposed, totally false, tainted, agitated & critical of everything & everybody. The Real you is Original, Eternal, & untainted. By comparison the Projected Ego is amassed, acquired, built up from yard sales of traits that the others have discarded & put out for disposal - go figure.   

Conflict resolution must happen first on the Internal level by having a desire to understand & finish the mental violence / tug of war. The absence of strong LIVING VALUES is the root cause of mental chaos. Honesty, Humility, & simplicity are the very basic ones to imbibe right from the early years of childhood. We can imbibe these only if our parents / caregivers / caretakers had them for us to copy.

CONFLICT - External : Differing view points, incompatibility between two people / groups /nations causes irritation which escalates into conflict. Now the external persona of False Egos  interacts, creating resentment, over flowing into bitterness. Greed for owning natures resources, Disrespect for the Dignity & Worth of every Human Being, & Dishonoring the differences / uniqueness of others, becomes the basis of Conflicts, battles & eventually wars. Lack of Tolerance, Cooperation, Unity, Responsibility & Self-Respect are the remaining Living Values which too must be imbibed in childhood, for people to live in Harmony, Happiness & overflowing Love for each other.

REALITY

In reality we are all LIGHT EMITTING DUDE,  SOULS incarnating in variety of Costumes made out of perishable decaying bacteria. The only perfume that is available is LOVE, to over power the bad odor oozing out of our decaying BODIES.

LOVE

Love is essential, important & life sustaining element & perfume of our bodies. It is securely sealed in a beautiful vessel named HEART. This container is highly expandable, flexible to hold LOVE & let it out at will. The vessel has the capacity to become BIG, SOFT or SHRIVELED & BROKEN too at different times. Love grows when given freely & becomes useful while caring, sharing, listening, consoling & being kind to near / dear ones & strangers. Love dries up when it is held back, blocked, restricted, stifled at times of being mean & sad. It is self manufacturing like any Hormone in our body. It is wrongly understood, that LOVE can be obtained by SQUEEZING  parts/organs of another's body which may be at close proximity, physically or far away in a distant land, mentally. 

LOVE AS A TOOL

Love is a tool too, to solve differences & makes you feel safe. Love is transferred by shooting out arrows of SMILES from the bow of your LIPS. We can display our love through tender touch, warm hugs & firm hand shakes.

HAPPINESS

Happiness happens when we are at Peace & Loved. Good wishes, Praise, Hugs & Acceptance by others makes us happy. It is equally important to make earnest effort to love our selves first & be at peace with self. It is having fun & good times with friends. First GIVE happiness by exuding it, then expect to RECEIVE it.

RESPECT

Valuing Worth of self & dignity of every Human  Being is giving & displaying Respect. It is feeling good & wonderful about self & others. Honoring the differences & uniqueness of others authentically is true respect. Asking questions & talking softly, politely & sweetly is an important hallmark of such respectful beings.     

HONESTY   

Courage is needed to think & speak the Truth & live life in a transparent manner, no matter what. If you find something & it does not belong to you then disown it & return it to the Lost & found section. You will feel clear & light when giving magnanimously & treading the honest path. Honest beings rarely TRESPASS another being.

HUMILITY

Show of patience, while waiting for your turn is a big Virtue. Behaving in a royal manner, displaying Divine gestures is real Humility.

  

SIMPLICITY

Learning from Nature how to conserve the limited resources & not waste them at any point of time is a big lesson. Recycle, Reuse, Repair, Renew, Reduce, Refill & Refuse are excellent ways to simplify our lives.

TOLERANCE

Human beings are like Rainbows, multicolored but together as one. Accepting people as they are is the first step towards your Peace of mind & body. Appreciating their differences even they are wrong, according to your made up yardsticks is good for your mental health.

COOPERATION & UNITY

Working together for a common shared goal with patience & affection is the main objective. Everyone helping to get something done harmoniously is cooperation. To respond gladly & willingly creates Unity. Can I help you.

SANSKARS + MIND + INTELLECT = SOUL

SANSKARS are of two kinds : Dormant or Active. Dormant ones are the forgotten Virtues, while the active ones are all the most used Vices.

IMPURE LIVING LOOP

In this Iron aged loop of Vicious Sanskars, the Intellect is lethargic, asleep & dulled by the function of not being used at all. The seeds of Vicious Sanskars easily sprout & creep into the Inert Mind automatically by force of habit from recent memory or upon external stimuli. We continue to experience false pleasure, through our sense organs, stuck in this loop of Body consciousness, till our last breadth. We operate from the seeds to the mind directly with no assistance from the Intellect at all.

TRANSFORMING LIVING LOOP

In this Confluence aged loop of mixed Sanskars, the Intellect is woken up, polished by Baba’s Gyan through Murli reading & churning. The chosen few get pulled into making serious effort to start the use of their defunct Intellects. The aim, objective & handsome reward of a Paradise is drilled into the adopted Brahmins daily to motivate them to transform & live a  life of purity, with full attention, total alertness to every thought & constant Remembrance of the Supreme Soul.

THE ALTERED INTELLECT

This altered Intellect triggers the Dormant Virtuous Sanskars to get activated gradually. These new seeds now attempt to sprout & steal into the inert Mind, occasionally for it to experience something different for a change for the first time. This mild temporary intoxication of peacefulness & happiness is very inviting & the poor starved soul yearns for more of it. The latent & potential powers for extra energy are tapped for the first time by the struggling soul as it practices greater Introspection, in this new found loop of being in the present moment. The teacher - Father is very patient because HE knows His children from the last cycle, that they are slow learners. This transient stage is complex because we are operating from the mixed seeds, some good & mostly bad to the mind, with much assistance from the altered Intellect, depending upon our alertness & awareness.   

PURE LIVING LOOP

In this Golden aged loop of Pure Sanskars, the Intellect is fully open, extremely sharp, totally alert at all times, every second. The Intellect is locked into Soul consciousness mode, to achieve Zero defect production of limited, pure thoughts in the mind, arising from only Virtuous Sanskars. In this time period the few Virtuous sanskars become active & the many Vicious sanskars are pushed into the dormant chamber. Now we are back to square one, operating from the seeds to the mind directly with little or no assistance from the Intellect.

We perceive & carry out all activities without the sense organs, thus creating Neutral Karma during this time period.  

MIND :

Mind feels, perceives, Interprets, & experiences what ever is fed into it, from the seeds / sanskars / stimuli.  By itself it is inert, a blank screen for display to the body.

INTELLECT :

Intellect is the Judge, who deciphers, calculates, computes, compares, discerns, discriminates & finally makes weighted choices to act, if awake & alert.

DESIRING PHYSICAL CONTACT

Lust is in the Body & the reproduction act happens rarely, when needed. On the other hand, Sexuality is in the Mind recreating the act, continuously, day & night. The subtler forms of sexuality are mental pornography, Trespassing, Day dreaming with imaginary lovers, Dreaming during sleep at night to complete the left over chasing. We never mastered the art of switching off the mind, when it is idling / not required.

Develop a personality of Reality, which show cases Truth, honesty & transparency in thought word & deed.

Inculcate an unadulterated relationship with HIM. Wake up at 4.00 am daily to Receive Blessings from the Father for a Blissful life.

Earn additional Blessings from others by uplifting them for mutual success & Fathers task.

Challenge Vicious Maya & Ravan as in a Game to become Victorious over them. Master the art of chasing them away from a distance.

Let go of Consciousness of Ego, I & mine.

Renounce the Vice of Attachment to small stuff.

Ease up on Tension about relationships with Self & others.

Be smart about your weaknesses, dislikes, nature of stubbornness leading to non-cooperation.

Give up the fear of obstacles resulting in failures & disappointments.

Obstacles come in your life for the specific reasons of teaching lessons & wake up calls.

Pay attention & learn the lesson from the obstacles. Soon it changes into Love.

Meaning of MAYA is NOT THIS, then what.

Consciousness is CAUSATIVE - makes things happen. Energy of Non material SOUL is Primary while the energy of MATTER is Secondary.

Malicious pungent Karma is a bundle of Consequences which applies limitations of Time & Space, to spoil the pursuit of continual happiness.   

In a Cosmos controlled by Consciousness, when the DEITIES / DEVAS are ignored or forgotten, it means the bills have not been paid. Consequently the orderly supply of natural resources, elements & necessities become erratic, reduced or shut off completely. The bill so far is $54 trillion… go figure.

What was profusely available in Golden age would become rare commodities in the Iron age.    

Incarnation means Born Again. Thinking, Feeling, Willing, we mold our Future Destiny.

Mystic Yoga is meticulous Karma, neutral Karma.

Animals are made up of gross elements like False Ego, mind & matter. They mate & defend for survival.

Human beings are made up of animal elements plus Intelligence - to know God if the inclination arises.

Breaking the Knowledge barrier with Spiritual SOUND - Shabad.

Cycle : Wish, Want, Waste, Wilt, Wonder, Wisdom.

GOODNESS - Virtues, Integrity, Self Discipline, Abstinence, Cleanliness, Peacefulness.

PASSION - Get ahead, Pride in abilities & possessions, Gluttony, Action oriented.

WAY OF LIFE & LIVING

It is for sure that animals are smarter than we humans. We as human beings live Indoors & over indulge in wrong ways, all of our lives. They live out doors always, enjoying the fresh oxygen loaded air & saturating themselves with essential Sun shine making Vitamin D in their bodies. They eat frugally & on time. Their diet contains no added salt or sugar which keeps them fit as a fiddle. They exercise a lot in their pursuit for food & enjoy playing with their cousins, while we are drifting towards our death with gadgets & technology. 

WAY OF SEX & PROCREATION - casual

In their world there is no difference between an intercourse or rape, it is all the same, no tension on this basic count. They additionally have a built in biological system of fixed timetables for sex & reproduction. On the other hand we guys are totally Body conscious, over powered with LUST for the the sex. Finally they do not over think or worry for next moment / next day, no hoarding / stocking up of any kind, except for the over smart squirrels, who eventually forget half of, where they hid their food for rainy days. 

  

THE ROAD TO MAJOR VICES & FATAL ATTRACTIONS

The emotion of LUST is signified by a combination of three animals : PIG for greed for more & more, TIGER for out of control & ANTELOPE for newer experiences / bodies. This single intention to possess another man's spousal property by any means escalates into massive wars by two or more nations. When wars take place on any count then the atmosphere of killing, looting men & raping women becomes a religion to follow blindly. HELEN OF TROY is a case study of the above intentions.   

The big Vice of EGO gets us into all kinds of trouble in one life time & every life time. The Implication of this vice can be traced back to a combo of three animals : PEACOCK for Pride, Rooster for Arrogance & GOAT for aggressiveness.

The strong feelings of ANGER have creep-ed into us humans from Quarrelsome GOOSE, Shrewd FOX & treacherous SNAKE cum CAT.

The sticky attitude of ATTACHMENT has been inherited from the smallest & cute fellow we all know as SQUIRREL who is infamous for stock piling & hoarding up nuts/food in excess of the needs.

The last of the major Vice happens to be JEALOUSY

by comparison of material & spousal possessions. This trait has been imported from Dishonest RAT & Deceitful WOLF - go figure.

  

THE PATH TO NEGATIVITY & WASTEFUL KARMA

The big sized WHALE with a small brain is a symbol  of Worrying over trifles just like average humans. The unsteady KANGAROO on two legs jumps, hops & runs as if it will stumble any moment into trouble exactly like we do, when we get HIGH & UNBALANCED on toxic substances. The Cranky CRAB in us, comes into play when our False Fears hang upside down from the ceiling like the indoor scary LIZARDS racing across to catch their prey of mosquitoes & other creatures. The quick night flying BAT is a character of stealth & DANGER which too suspends itself in sleep.

The homely HEN is considered very TALKATIVE but the DUCKS hang out together & do all the GOSSIP in the community, while the STUPID TURKEY listens quietly with full attention.

The fun loving court jester is our favorite MONKEY who entertains with his FOOLISH pranks & gestures. He also APES & imitates the people around him specially the children, which is the hallmark of the APE. The crawling MOUSE has plenty of NUISANCE value, because he can hide himself from us & squeeze through the tiniest crevices to nibble away at our possessions. 

THE HIGHWAY OF EFFORT TO IMBIBING VIRTUES

Herculean effort & courage is required to shed the Body gripping Vices of the Devil & transform ones character to an elevated Angel. GIRAFFE is one who can help you TAKE A CHANCE to turn over a new leaf. You must keep trying & take courage from the TURTLE who we know DOES NOT GIVE UP ever.

Have full faith in your self & TRIUMPH OVER TROUBLES like the soaring EAGLE, who has the birds view point of all the Drama happening below.

If you ever dream of any or all of the following animals then keep dreaming them up. They are good for you & be serious about imbibing their traits. A HORSE will take you to true FRIENDSHIP & a SEAHORSE can reinforce as FAMILY UNITY.

Learn to be FAITHFUL to your aims & objective of transforming just like your pet DOG, who believes that he is the Master & you are his Gene. Inculcate the fine qualities of GENTLENESS & KINDNESS that our LAMB has right from the very birth. You can borrow the CALM attitude from the passive SHEEP too. Letting go of our biggest & toughest ally Ego is a hard task to accomplish. We can look up to the crawling WORM to learn the lessons of PATIENCE & HUMILITY, by installing him on a pedestal along with the FROG, who can be a source of inspiration for us to ADAPT & embrace the change that we want & need at this hour of total degradation.

THE PASSAGE TO THE GARDEN OF PEACE & HAPPINESS

To live & let live in an Inclusive manner will enable all of us to a CAREFREE life of a RABBIT. All he needs a couple of carrots & his joy becomes boundless. Tread the grass of your garden very carefully so as not to trample the beautiful BEETLE under your feet, because it brings us GOOD FORTUNE. Additionally do not dust off the cob webs, cast over your shrubs & trees because the SPIDERS bring in GOOD LUCK for you & your family. These tiny creatures are an intrinsic part of the World Wide Web, hence look after them with Reverence & Compassion. I would go a step further to develop a special place in my garden for the mighty OWL from whom I can draw WISDOM all night long. 

THE LONG ROUTE TO THE FOREST OF WILD & LONG LIFE

In order to survive in the wilderness you need to the POWER of a BEAR & the STRENGTH of a BULL to assert your right to live peacefully, among-st many different species with their own agendas & priorities.

We also require the ENDURANCE capacity of an ELEPHANT & the PERSEVERANCE of the mighty CAMEL to live a long life of contentment & fulfillment right into the hundredth year like every ALLIGATOR.

Another aspect of survival is to ensure that your species does not become extinct, through MULTIPLICATION & procreation in large numbers like our domestic & prosperous COW.

To conclude we must give high regard to the Silent & cute FISH, which is the symbol of SPIRITUAL WEALTH for the human race. Fishes survive & help others survive by becoming their food in the water & out of the water too.     

  

Exercise your choice now, to narrow down three most predominant negative / harmful animal traits that you wish to Exorcise from your system.  Forget the Zodiac animals for a little while.
