Reiki is Knowledge of healing both physical & spiritual transmitted ORAL teachings. Later, written in texts for posterity – Tantra / Vajrayana. The goal is Union & Oneness with all Beings. This union is personified by the Visualized, not any sexual partner. Tantra Lotus Sutra offers symbol formula for the technique of Reiki practice.

Existence, just as a condition of being alive, is UNHAPPINESS. Suffering & pain are caused by attachment to the process of living. Life creates Karma which makes the necessity for further lifetimes, as Karma is both made & cleared only in the Body, Earth plane. Means of controlling the mind are skills of EFFORT, ALERTNESS & CONCENTRATION.

A distorted mind on Earth plane acts to create distorted Reality, resulting in suffering. Reality is created by the action mind from the void. Human perception is Non-void an Illusion, which creates the world of suffering. Magic is the art of changing CONSCIOUSNESS at WILL with no limitations.

Emptiness is the central quality of the Void. Emotions create attachment & further Karma. Void is the depths of fathomless peace, purity, perfection, mystery & joy. All beings are already in a state of perfection.  Manda = essence La = completion of going within. Pictures of DIETIES – a doorway to …. Nirvana.

Enlightenment is a direct dynamic spiritual experience brought through intuition – seeing clearly – the light of information & understanding. It results in liberation & comprehension of reality. The joy of the Void. 

BASIS OF REIKI TRANSMISSION

Word and thought are two aspects of a single reality: the word is the external form, and the thought is the internal meaning. Matter itself is a manifestation of standing wave patterns and continuous vibration. Because Akasha is seamless and unbroken across planes of existence, vibratory energy (Prana) can be directed consciously to heal, align, and affect transformation over any distance.

It is a form of healing that depends on intent and contact between a healer and his patient with no medication involved. Healers generally see themselves as an aid to orthodox medicine. Faith, belief can work wonders. All doctors know the PLACEBO effect. It has the power to affect the patient for good. One of the basic concepts of the holistic approach to life and living is to assume responsibility for your health and wellbeing. Man’s natural state is one of health. Our human machines are designed to last for 200 years, if used judiciously.

Human beings are more than just physical creatures. They are the body, mind and spirit interacting with each other. The healer can impose his waves and tune the patient in. The patient becomes relaxed and his body is put into a state where it can most readily heal itself. Energy flows from the healer to the patient. This is Reiki, Cosmic Energy.

CATEGORIES OF HEALERS

The first class is the religious man – A priest or a saint. He works on the physical level of the patient. He believes that his gift comes from God himself. He works with prayer and laying on of hands. According to Ancient Indian texts, Jesus, the healer, was a Tibetan Tulka, one who retains previous life’s memory, a reincarnated Bodhisattva. The three wise men from the East, followed him & took him to Egypt & then to India for safety reasons. He lived in Tibet to resume the role he was in his past lifetime. He died very peacefully at the ripe age of 120 years in Kashmir.

The second class is the spiritual man – A medium. He works on the psychic level of the patient. He believes that his work is done under the guidance of the spirits of the dead. He often works in a trance-like condition just above the flesh. The third class is the layman. He works on the Etheric body of the patient. He believes that it is a self-healing potential within the capacity of every human being. People in this class become Reiki masters, healers, and therapists.

THE FIVE PRINCIPLES OF USUI ARE

Just for today I will give thanks for my blessings; not worry; not be angry; do my work honestly; be kind to my neighbor and every living thing.

It is a healing art that utilizes universal life energy by channeling it through our bodies for storage in the solar plexus and into the diseased individual for rebalancing through laying on of hands. The healer places his hands on 24 specific points of the body for 3 minutes per point. He visualizes and meditates on special symbols and mantras. The essence is – great white light makes contact, removes blockages and enters the body.

Distance healing is possible too. It is called Absent healing. Energy is transmitted over large distances with no physical contact at all. The patient will send in his request for Reiki to the healer through letter or telephone giving his name, address, malady, and photograph.

Reiki symbols from the Mahayana Sutras are five in numbers which represent the five levels of the mind that lead to Enlightenment. The five elements in nature match up with these five symbols: Void / spirit, wind, fire, water, Earth.  The symbols in the same order are KU, DI KO MYO, HON SHA ZE SHO NAN, SAY HE KI, CHO KU REI.  Reiki symbols mean non-duality of the mind, objects & emptiness from Ego.   

WISEDOM – ENERGY – CREATION.

Reiki releases the past life trapped emotions additionally & thus the subject’s malady aggravates initially to be eventually healed completely. Therefore, have patience & power to tolerate.

Meaning of Reiki symbols: They affect the Vibrational bodies at the four vibrational levels. They are Sanskrit derived Japanese forms. They are designed psychically as pictures & sounds based on mantras. The letters also spell out a meaning.

CHO KU REI – It is first one used, to turn ON the healing energy on the physical level & amplify the power. It is the Light switch drawn into the heart.

SAY HE KI – This one is the second to be used to Transform the Ego & emotions from negative to positive on the emotional level. It is also the Alchemical process to rise above the Impure ground Earth to new Golden awareness.

HON SHA ZE SHO NAN – This the third one in line, which facilitates the entrance into the Akashic records / Book of life of each soul, to read them. With more effort we can rewrite / edit the Book with Consciousness. It means No past, no present, no future.  It allows the creation of true Reality by the understanding of Pure Mind. It allows distance healing on the Mental Body level.

DI KO MYO – It provides the subject with freedom to reincarnate & feeling of oneness for all life, that heals the very soul at the spiritual level. It flies from heart to heart. Reiki is a tool & virtue of Bodhi.

RAKU – It symbolizes the Absolute & 9^th consciousness. It is the Diamond vehicle, the lightning bolt. It is Enlightenment itself. It is the grounding mechanism at the end of the attunement session.
