The story of our little girl must be told in a unique style to maximize its impact on a male-dominated world. Her entire journey unfolds through an extraordinary gift: the ability to read minds, influence thoughts, and communicate mentally with anyone she chooses, regardless of physical distance. Now, Portia lived alone with her mother, seeing her father only on weekends like a visiting stranger.

Fear of "Divorce" - In Pebble’s young mind, the word Divorce appears as a glowing red sign wrapped in hissing, venomous snakes. Spurred by her friend Portia’s story of a broken home, Pebble imagines divorce as a literal tug-of-war played on a tennis or badminton court, ending with stranger stepparents and permanent loss. Divorce was the absolute terror of Pebble’s life. In her mind, the word appeared as a warning sign painted in blood-red letters and wrapped in hissing, poisonous snakes. To Pebble, divorce meant parents no longer lived together. It meant being forced to choose one parent while losing the other forever or facing the threat of a new stepparent and a whole new cycle of resentment.

Flashes of Precognition - Assisting Pebble’s mind-reading is Polly, an invisible playmate who reveals events before they happen, a phenomenon scientists label precognition. Pebble anticipates needs effortlessly.

Seeing the future clearly

Pebble explained that while her vocabulary was still growing, her mind could feel things deeply. She had an invisible companion named Polly, who appeared whenever Pebble tried hard to understand complex events.
