To understand the term VALUE, we will start with ANTI -VALUE first so that we get the full grasp of the meaning.

Anti-values can be classified into the following six categories by ascending order:

(1) the act of destroying the earth-of annihilating humankind and all other living organisms;

(2)  the act of mass killing of people by initiating a war or committing treason;

(3)  the act of murdering or causing death to a human being;

(4)  the act of damaging the body of a human being;

(5)  the act of greatly harming society;

(6)  all other crimes not covered by the above.

Higher values can be classified into the following five categories in descending rank:  absolute values such as absolute truth, absolute purity, absolute silence, absolute love, absolute knowledge. To this we can add political values, social values, legal values, cultural values moral values, educational values, scholastic values, industrial values, athletic values, values of life, medical values, values of language, technical values and emotional values. In addition to values in our life, all things have natural values including monetary values.

YOUR BELIEFS & PERCEPTIONS ARE NOT REALITY.

Reality does not change depending upon your beliefs, and perceptions. Beliefs do not establish truth. How do we acquire these harmful beliefs?  We internalize them from our environment, parents, teachers, role models, when we are very young, innocent, raw, and quite impressionable. Belief formation is spontaneous and involuntary. What are beliefs? They are mini programs in our memory. We internalize the age old beliefs handed down form one generation to another, pretty much Stone Age stuff.                     

We go through life struggling with these programmed hard disks which refuse to take in new and correct information from reality and everyday events. We are totally biased with these age old perceptions and notions that act like filters or brackets in our life’s experiences. In short the world events happen to us objectively, while we experience them subjectively through our filters, totally opposite angles and view points. What is the solution to this faulty programming problem? Simple! Format your hard disk or floppy, and leave it blank as it was, when you were born. It would be even better if you reprogram it as you wish it now, master of yourself. You are in charge of your life. Do it now, rewrite your own program?  Be alert, be aware of this malfunction. This is the root of all problems, misery, and suffering. Majority of the people do not want to do it themselves. They are again afraid of the unknown as usual, or they do not know where to start or how to go about it.                        

  CONVICTION WITHOUT VERIFICATION 

Belief is your conviction of the truth, of a proposition without its verification. You believe in many things because everyone around you believes in them, of course without verification. In many other things, you are made to believe through repetitive coaching, counseling, advertisement watching, and radio listening. As a result of the entire above overload of information, you come to believe in many things very powerfully, dangerously, and wrongly. The belief engine chugs away, strengthening old beliefs, spewing out new ones, rarely discarding any. We can sometimes see the foolishness in other people’s beliefs, but it is difficult to see the same error in our own beliefs.

BELIEF OF YOUR BIOLOGICAL FATHER!

We believe that we are seriously crippled and handicapped in major facets, physically, intellectually, psychologically, and spatially.

            

WANTING TO BE DIFFERENT

We live in a state of not accepting ourselves as we, thus want to be different, from whom we are. Now, we have a full fledged internal war, perpetual conflict of ideologies, and personalities. The agony and dilemma of choices, this girl or that woman leaves us helpless and overwhelmed with hundreds of fears. On top of all this we are plagued by dozens of likes and dislikes. All of the above negativity ruins our true sense of perception of the Universe and all that is happening in it to us. We become seekers, seeking, desiring, wanting, a never ending wanting. We are conditioned to be beggars of happiness. We come to believe blindly in many things out of fear and clouded judgments. A belief is a judgment prior to gaining knowledge and subject to verification by inquiry. Since we have no mindset of inquiry and inclination to verify, we continue to hold on to our baseless beliefs till death.

KNOW THY SELF

The darkness of ignorance can be removed by the light of knowledge of self. Who we really are? This single piece of information makes a world of difference in our lives. It also turns the tables on us. It is important to be wise than to be otherwise. We are matter vivified by Consciousness. We are pure Awareness, which is limitless, formless, all pervasive, timeless, action less and self effulgent. We are complete, totally liberated and perpetually happy beings. We are joyful beings at peace with ourselves and happily doing what ever must be done. You are not a prisoner in this beautiful wonderful world, but if you do feel trapped with your back against the wall, then seriously you need to examine yourself and stop blaming the world. The very same environment does not make everyone else imprisoned and trapped. This world is a mirage, an illusion of your mind. It is a magical wonderland where you derive what you want and expect out of it. It does not produce sorrow and grief. It gives back pure experiences, only, like a mirror reflecting back into your face.                        

Unfortunately you extract total misery from it, because your mind projects it. It is termed mental projection. It is your own creation. Your mind makes life a sad affair. Since the mind has extraordinary powers, both positive and negative, you end up with extraordinary sufferings, sorrows, and grief. This complaining is illegitimate, unfounded and wrongly perceived. You are grieving over trifles and things that do not deserve grief.     

  ONE HOUSE TWO SCENARIOS

The haves are unhappy with all the comforts, while the have not’s are equally unhappy without those comforts. A house is up for sale. The seller wants to get rid of it. The buyer wants to own it. Both parties are happy with one deal, the same house. This phenomenon is true in our relationships too. First we want each other badly and madly. After a couple of years we get tired of each other and want to divorce our partners, get new ones for you, no, second hand in reality, or continue to live together hating each other like sour lemons for various reasons.                

 IGNORANCE IS THE FUNDAMENTAL PROBLEM

It is the lack of knowledge of the functioning of this Universe. Our upbringing and programming of the mind is so damn faulty, that we end up as failures. A sense of duality is deeply ingrained, when we are very impressionable and innocent. We feel division of self, leading to feelings of uneasiness. We scream on top of our voices, “All is not well with me”. We act as inadequate, unfulfilled, and incomplete. These emotions are reinforced many times over resulting in self-condemnation, self-demeaning and limited in multiple ways. We believe that we are seriously crippled and handicapped in major facets, physically, intellectually, psychologically, and spatially.           

WANTING TO BE DIFFERENT

We live in a state of not accepting ourselves as we, thus want to be different, from whom we are. Now, we have a full-fledged internal war, perpetual conflict of ideologies, and personalities. The agony and dilemma of choices, this girl or that woman leaves us helpless and overwhelmed with hundreds of fears. On top of all this we are plagued by dozens of likes and dislikes. All of the above negativity ruins our true sense of perception of the Universe and all that is happening in it to us. We become seekers, seeking, desiring, wanting, a never ending wanting. We are conditioned to be beggars of happiness. We come to believe blindly in many things out of fear and clouded judgments. A belief is a judgment prior to gaining knowledge and subject to verification by inquiry. Since we have no mindset of inquiry and inclination to verify, we continue to hold on to our baseless beliefs till death.

EGO - EARTH GUIDED ONLY

What stops us from changing?  Why we refuse to change?  It is our own EGO that comes in our way of progress, way for betterment and new life. It is the root of all evils. Ego stands for Earth Guided Only. The opposite of Ego is soul consciousness. It is our attachment to the wrong beliefs about us. It is the false center. We put on a mask of restlessness over our real nature of calmness. We go about masquerading, all our lives with passion. We are intoxicated with ego feeling, agitated state of consciousness, resulting in stimuli of feelings, hence covering the bliss. Ego lives on attention. It feels hungry, deep begging for attention. It is all about me, me and I. All misery enters through ego. Two egos clash because both are not confident of themselves. You are a little spark and yet you extol yourself. I am the owner of the Universe. In reality you do not own anything on the Earth, let alone own the Universe. Ego is homemade, fabricated, self-manufactured and ugly of course, since it is man-made. We are afraid of being alone, lonely. Hence we invent illusions, TV, clubs, conferences, sects, churches, crowd, and parties, to procrastinate the effort to look inside. This is our self-hypnosis through others, attention from others. 

If you are hurt inside with one’s insinuation – it is ego.

If one’s behavior causes you pain – it is ego.

If you speak loudly, and shout to get your point across – it is ego.

If you want to control your children & the world – it is ego.

If you are pointing the index finger and giving orders – it is ego.

If you are worried and anxious for things – it is ego.

If you are suffering and miserable most of the time – it is ego.

If you are generally angry at the world situations – it is ego.

   EMPEROR HAS AN EGO TOO

One day in the land of Mongolia an emperor Aurangzeb was praying in darkness in a mosque. He was telling the lord, I am nobody. But unfortunately he was not alone in the mosque. There was another common man praying too beside the emperor and he too was saying the same prayer, I am nobody.  At once the Emperor Aurangzeb’s ego, flared up. Who dare say the same prayer? The emperor punished the common man, one of his own subject’s with death by beheading in public, for praying with him and saying the same stuff. The emperor could not tolerate such a simple act. Most people have very low ignition point, and they flare up very quickly over, anything trivial. Ego is hell, misery, and suffering.

 EGOISTIC DOCTOR                                    

A well-established mature psychiatrist had a solid practice in Los Angeles. One day he was approached by a very beautiful lady, Tyrell for help and consultation. As she walks in to his clinic,  the doctor goes flying off the floor. He is totally knocked off by the captivating charm and beauty of our lady patient. He could not control himself. He approaches the lady, hugs her straight away, kisses her and excuses himself for the act on his part. Madame Tyrell, that was my problem, now what is your problem? The lady patient slapped the doctor and sued him for 10 million dollars. The doctor was ruined just because of his ego. Ego gets you into trouble, hence beware, be extra careful.

  DUALITY VERSES NEUTRALITY

Choice gives you options, but it is accompanied by tensions. This one or that one! Ego comes into play. Duality is created by the mind. In the beginning there is no distinction. Then my toys and your toys! Where to live?  In the hills or in the valley! A huge dilemma cannot make up your mind. Are you for sex and promiscuity  or against sex and celibacy? Either way you are in anxiety. When you are in one of them, the grass seems greener on the other side of the fence. Are you for Jesus Christ and Christianity or Anti-Jesus Christ and against Christianity? Well there is still another option available to you, which is being neutral or indifferent to Christ and Christianity. Choose, to wake up from slumber, deep hypnosis or continue sleeping. Few people try consciously to develop the potentials of mind, body and soul. Rest are purely victims of circumstances, of past. 

  LET GO OF EGO

How do we escape this monster of Ego?  Just drop it, simple! It is easy to say but difficult to do it. The only sure way out is Awareness. You have to be dangerously aware, alert 24/7. Alertness is intensity. Try being as alert as if you are walking a high 12 inch narrow rope bridge over a gigantic ravine or river. The wind is swaying the rope bridge and death is at your heels every step you take towards your destination across the river. This is the highest level of awareness you have ever had or will have when you attempt to venture on such a trip. Therefore become intensely aware of this monster Ego and watch it dropping off, disappearing, and finally gone. Of course hard work is required on your part first, before you can see some results.

KNOW THY SELF

The darkness of ignorance can be removed by the light of knowledge of self.  Who we really are? This single piece of information makes a world of difference in our lives. It also turns the tables on us. It is important to be wise than to be otherwise. We are matter vivified by Consciousness. We are pure Awareness, which is limitless, formless, all pervasive, timeless, action less and self-effulgent. We are complete, totally liberated and perpetually happy beings. We are joyful beings at peace with ourselves and happily doing whatever must be done. This miraculous secret is concealed very intricately inside us and it can be unraveled only by ourselves, with our own effort and lots of hard work.

WE ARE A PACKET OF ENERGY

Man is made up of five elements; ether, air, fire, water, earth. Gods are made of three elements; ether, air, fire.  All tangible objects are born out of ether. It is possible to see it with effort. All consciousness and active objects vibrate. It is crucial to them all, air, sky, voice, and noise. Vibrations give rise to waves, which help move from point A to point B. It is through will power that we succeed in life. Strong will power has vibrations and they affect others by reaching them. Prerequisites for strong will power are: profound solitude, preserve energy, talk less, self-control, happy face, thought free like a child, developed eye power, no self-talk, no revealing of thoughts & secrets, no anger, no loud laughter too.

WE ARE THE SUBJECT OF AN OBJECT

We are fusion of Mind and Awareness which results in an explosive brilliance and effulgence. We are cosmic awareness, subtle matter, cause, absolute, real, and eternal. We are the subject which cannot be negated. We are also NOT, the awarer, gross matter, the effect, relative, apparent, and temporary mortal sentient. We are not the object which we often think and believe we are. Our true nature is joyful. Our bodies cannot tolerate any foreign stuff. It has to be expelled as quickly as possible - A dust particle in your eye or a worm in your stomach. The same is true for sorrow and grief. It is alien to our nature and is contradictory. In love we are one. The flame of love fuses two into one. The other is totally accepted for the time being, no division. But in a fight, and hate we are separate from the other. We are two and the other must be annihilated.

IT’S ALL TEMPORARY

Everything is temporary, transient, and short lived in this ever evolving universe.  We are like traffic on the highways, or in Times Square, very temporary for a short span of 90 years. But sadly we are always looking for permanent things in life. Lifelong jobs, ever lasting relationships, permanent addresses, and the list goes on. How tragic? How much out of tune and alignment are we with the flow of nature, and the laws of the universe? The answer is, very much out of tune.

CHANGE SELF NOT THE WORLD

Life is a flux, ever changing. Therefore change yourself, not the world. You can never change the universe. It is huge, beyond your power and comprehension. Change the cause because, you are the cause. You started the chain of events. Hence change yourself. Life echoes back at you. Life is to be conquered. You need intelligence and strategy to win wars and battles of ever changing scenarios.

GO WITH THE FLOW

A flowing river cannot be stopped, so just go with the flow. It is stupidity to stop the flow of water in a river. Be friendly. If you cling on to life, and beliefs, you are heading for disaster, frustration, misery. Intelligence lies in not clinging, but being unattached and that is how you create bliss. As a system of intelligence functioning, there are five senses. All our experiences are coded in these five senses. But the world we experience is not outside us. It is only, We.

We do not react to world out there but to the PERCEPTION of it. Perception is something we build. Since we build it, we can change it. Reality happens through YOU and TO YOU.

YOUR ENTRY IN THE MOTEL

You come into this world as a love product of two loving people. You are the most wanted guest entering the ten star facilities, the planet Earth, your temporary Guest House. You do not bring a truck load of supplies for your long 90 years of stay here. You come with just a carry-on baggage of your physical body knowing well that you will be taken care of. Everything is provided for your comfort and enjoyment in this magnificent guest house much in abundance, exceeding your merger requirements, yet you experience an over whelming sense of scarcity.

  ABUNDANCE OUT SIDE, SCARCITY INSIDE

Some oceans are ice capped and some are boiling hot waters near the equator. This differential helps move the waters around and churn up the marine life. Rich top soil has been deposited on land for you to grow your food and fodder. It is even irrigated by overflowing rivers to facilitate the crops of fruits and vegetables, herbs and trees, woods and forests. It can sustain billions of people for hundreds of years if used carefully maintaining the ecological balance. Despite this entire splendor, you slaughter animals to satisfy your palate and hunger.

Seven gigantic oceans of water have been strategically positioned for your hydration needs, but you are found dehydrated at most times. You will unknowingly flush down 50 liters of filtered, drinkable water into the toilets but refuse, hesitate and simply forget to consume even one liter of water in your human system. Our bodies are 70 % water & topping up intelligently & quickly are of utmost importance.

  PURE OXYGEN FOR IMPURE BLOOD

The spherical guest house is specially enveloped with diluted oxygen for hundreds of kilometers deep into the sky and hermetically sealed with a super sensitive ozone layer, to divert the harmful radiations coming from the sun, and prevent the nitrogen and oxygen from escaping into the space beyond. Yet, you breathe like a miser, taking shallow breadths, resulting in toxic blood levels. How pathetic is your story. I feel sorry for you.

History of breath gives us the knowledge of our childhood wounds, trauma, fears & chronic insecurities. We must open up to these & consciously breath them out. Don’t wait for the crisis to change your lives. Hurry up sickness, is an epidemic these days. Make choices, slow down, spend time lavishly, then you will have more of it. Healing with the breath is an ancient art lost in time. Affirm loudly that each breath is transforming me into thine image of purity, perfect happy soul.

  

FEELING AT HOME WITH EVERY BREATH

What we are and what we wish to know are not separate. It is the same thing. The finger pointing at the moon. We are awakened consciousness. The very nature of the breath arising from within us announces this message over & over again.  Celebrate your own homecoming. Mindfulness is to mind the breath, is to decide, that this very moment is yours to own it. To extricate self from the past & pull of future, gradually come to peace with ourselves, one thing at a time with full attention.  When not at peace, we feel righteous anger, a justifiable disappointment.  Solution is to be choice-less.

DEEP BREATHING MESSAGES THE INTERNAL ORGANS

It is the primal wave movement.  The source of this rhythm lies in the swelling and receding of the motions of pelvis & abdomen. Breathing is a global body experience.   Every breath massages all the internal organs for good health automatically. We feel the body through the medium of breath. Listen to your breathing and know who you are. Inhabit your body with full awareness. Entering stillness within the breath. Observe how the breath is inside the breath Pause & be still. Inhalation is born out of this stillness and exhalation returns to this stillness. Allow yourself to become luminous stillness. Soul shining star. Witness thoughts from this stillness, & you will get to peacefulness. The capacity for aliveness & pleasure permeates every cell.

THE KING OF ALL SECRETS - THAT THOU ART.

That, what you seek outside of yourself. Thou meaning you the self and Art implying you already are. You already have what you seek. It is so simple yet terribly complex or complicated to comprehend and implement. It is impossible and erroneous to want something when it is already present inside you. Hence it is a big mistake and illegitimate action of seeking, wanting and desiring. Before this knowledge you could not conclude, but after having this revelation, conclusion is unnecessary because knowing is self-conclusive and not subject to interpretation and negation.

  

DELINKING REWARD FROM ACTION

The second part of the KING OF SECRETS is the universal laws of nature and how they work. The cosmic laws of nature are impartial and they never fail. These laws can be understood but not changed or altered. Our actions in this world are rewarded by the application of these cosmic laws. The rewards of our actions can be diluted, delayed and handed down in the next life or another future life. It is in no hurry and always very patient. Today we perform actions with expectations of big rewards, but when we see the rewards not forth coming we get disappointed, frustrated and angry. Our reactions and attitudes towards the rewards of our actions are another big mistake and part of the fundamental problem of mankind. The secret is to go on performing your actions without any attachment to the rewards. If we delink the actions and the rewards, then the problem can be resolved very easily. Just be a witness to the action and not an unconscious doer of action. Another aspect to this business of payment for actions is to accept the fruits what ever they are, very gracefully like a “Prasad” a gift from heavens. The meaning of Prasad is, “absence of sorrow”. Bear in mind that many times there may not be any fruit at all immediately.

YOUR EXIT

When your stay of 90 years, more or less, in this guest house is over, you have to leave to return to your HOME, just as you came, empty handed, with no baggage at all. All your riches and wealth do not go with you. They belong to this earth and must be recycled again and again. This time you do not take your carry on baggage even, of your old diseased worn out body with you. The benevolent earth takes care of your body and disposes it off very efficiently to the various elements of nature, except the bones. A miser is a person, who leaves this world without knowing the truth about self, for he has not used this vast wealth of human intellect to inquire into the purpose of life and enhance it by adding value to it.               

EASY TO SWITCH NEGATIVITY TO POSITIVITY

We can learn to switch negativity to positivity by consciously attempting to do so. Breathe slowly and deeply through the area of the heart. Self generate a positive feeling like appreciation or care. By doing these two things, you can shift the pattern of signals; the heart sends to the brain, reducing the inner noise and helping the three brains work together in harmony. This will stabilize your emotions and start to recharge your energy accumulators. You have the capacity, to get back your original self, just as you were born, fully hydrated and zero emotions.

Thoughts - assault the mind and make you mentally tired & the heart, emotionally sick. Scores of desires makes us sore & tense. Desires are closely related to breath; hence breath control will help curb lust desires.  A single desire leads to many subordinate desires culminating into a stream. Some desires get fulfilled and make us happy, thus setting up a vicious circle of more such desires. Many desires remain unfulfilled making us sad, mad, sorrowful & angry. Man’s life is vitiated with tension, restlessness, and worry for non-fulfillment of desires. Germination of anxiety – just to do sociably & ethically reprehensible acts first then hide them, spend energy to keep them secret for the fear of their revelation to public, fearing shame. It reduces our body to hollowness.  

Emotions - of sex, lust must in any case get its expression with horrific results of stresses & complexes.  In the entire above fragment our effort is wasted & we forget to control the inner mind. Man sacrifices his life at the altar of desires, because he is subordinate to the dictates of mind. Mind is like a pitcher: one hole or 20 holes cause dissipation of energy. Many thoughts, scattered velocity, one thought concentrated velocity. 

Mind makes us laugh, cry, fear, joy sad and future speculations. It transcends all dimensions of time & space. A mind devoid of criminal propensities would free man from fear & then he would harbor only constructive thoughts/ideas. The two minds are interrelated. Mercurial mind is a science of creativity. Outer mind responds to physical world, daily chores. It is conscious of present time & memory. It argues and questions. Inner mind is the sub conscious part which accepts everything always, a consciousness of higher plane. It relates to dream state & memory of past /future. A third component of mind is the intellect which is related with faith. 

HAVE COMPASSION & EMPATHY

You are not alone in this guest house. You share it equally with many more guests just like yourself who may look different and speak strange languages. Therefore you must take extra care to leave the ten star resorts in good condition for others to enjoy it after you leave. Please do not pollute and defile the marvelous resources of this planet. They are self-renewing like our bodies.

NO CHARGE MOTEL - PAY BACK WITH GRATITUDE

Also bear in mind that there is no charge for your lodging here, and no bills to pay for boarding, and all that you consumed so shamelessly and wasted so wantonly.  How do you expect to pay back? You cannot. You have nothing of your own to give. You lived in and off the guest house, gratis. The only currency that is accepted by the benevolent Host is the currency of Gratitude. An attitude of thankfulness is enough to please the Host. Therefore be humble and grateful throughout the entire duration of your stay in the beautiful Guest House. See you again in your next life friend.
