Devotion is the ultimate form of spiritual outsourcing. The moment a person decides that God is everywhere, God is effectively nowhere specific. By diffusing the Divine into everything, the seeker dilutes their own focus. They outsource their peace to stone idols, their responsibility to human Gurus, and their salvation to the sky. It makes the soul a permanent "beggar," constantly waiting for a cosmic handout. The version of Knowledge completely in-sources the entire operation. By defining God as a localized, omnipotent Point of Light, it gives the intellect a precise laser-target to lock onto. We aren't begging for a statue for mercy anymore; the system coaches us to "have mercy on self-first." It shifts the human being from a passive consumer of rituals to an active, autonomous producer of their own clean energy.

The phrase "dying alive" is a spectacular psychological concept. Most of the world spends its life running away from the fear of physical termination, accumulating material baggage and bodily attachments to feel secure. By teaching the soul to "die alive," our framework completely short-circuits that fear. When we consciously step out of body-consciousness while still walking around in the flesh, the system of Maya loses all its leverage over you. We can't threaten a person with loss when they have already willingly detached from ownership.
